Yes, you can cancel the backup storage pool command. When you issue the command you may want to use maxpr to use more than 1 process (2 drives) so you can get it done faster.
The process may not immediately cancel, but when finishes the aggregate it is copying and tries to go to the next it will stop. Paul D.
