Thanks for helping me out with this.
I followed those steps you mentioned and now the error (*ANS1353E
(RC53) Session rejected: Unknown or incorrect ID entered*) doesn't
come up anymore.
Below is the output that I get when I now trigger the backup command:

This problem is most likely caused because the register node
was not done correctly. In order for proxy authority to work,
you must have as admin node of "Client Owner" admin privilege
for the DP/Exchange node.
This is normally done for you automatically when you issue
the REGISTER NODE command.
