This problem is most likely caused because the register node
was not done correctly. In order for proxy authority to work,
you must have as admin node of "Client Owner" admin privilege
for the DP/Exchange node.
This is normally done for you automatically when you issue
the REGISTER NODE command.
However.... if something like this was used:
REGISTER NODE nodename password USERID=NONE
then the admin node is not created.
This will cause the exact error you are seeing.
The PROXY code uses the Remote Client BA Client service...
which requires "Client Owner" admin privilege.
To solve this problem, you can delete the node
and register it again correctly.
The steps to solve this problem are:
1. On the TSM Server.... remove the DP/Exchange node:
REMOVE NODE USCOL2K3EXVS01
2. On the TSM Server.... register the DP/Exchange node:
REG NODE USCOL2K3EXVS01 password
3. On the TSM Server.... create the proxy settings:
GRANT PROXY TARGET=USCOL2K3EXVS01 agent=USCOL2K3OF01,USCOL2K3EX01
4. On the Exchange Server... to make sure the password is stored... enter
this command:
TDPEXCC QUERY TSM /TSMPASSWORD=password
5. Retry the query exchange operation:
TDPEXCC QUERY EXCHANGE
