FYI,
maxnummp defaults to 1 but is ignored by nodes of type "NAS" or "SERVER"

Hi Geoff,
The messages manual says "Ensure that the MAXNUMMP (maximum number of mount
points) defined on the server for this node is greater than 0."
What is the maxnummp for the node?
I version 6, I set it for all nodes to 6.

TOC data is different than the restore data. Look at the copygroup for
the NAS node. You will see a "Copy Destination" which shows the storage
pool that the backups go to, and a "TOC Destination" which shows the
storage pool that the TOC will go to. If you are using a native NDMP dump

There are third-party packages which do this kind of thing, to help make

Hi ALL:
Does the backup complete after logging the ANS1312E error msg?
If so has the backup been tested by restore?
Any intermittent issues when backing up the Database?
Sam.

First thing I can suggest is a swift upgrade to TSM 4.1.4.0 on AIX. I've
got it installed at two client sites (using 3995 Optical jukeboxes and LTO)
and seems quite stable.

Yes. I'm sure of this because the migration from disk to tape works fine.
