I understand this, but I have lines from the output of the incremental with
inclexcl that is expiring files. It appears that it is expiring all but 2,
which is my retonly parm in my management class.

The exclude statements prevent files from being backed up incrementally.
The management class determines how long the files are retained (number
of versions or number of days). Files that have been backed up are
expired according to the management class rules.

Hi,
If you want to manage data with different retention times for one
back-up client, I would define 2 nodes on the ITSM server, one for each
dsm.sys entry. By doing so, the data backupped under one dsm.sys entry
will not get expired by the exclude of the other entry.
