Hi,
I've got a StorageTek L20 library (19 slots and 1 bulk-slot). The
Library status tool shows total:19, free:1, occupied:18.
When I want to check in the 19-th tape, TSM gives the remark ANR8314E
library STKLIB is full.
I've already did an AUDIT LIBRARY but the problem still exist.

What you want is "Q MED". Look in the help for that command. The basic
that you need is "DAYS=" but there are other limiters you can add.

I have a 3584 library that us now full to the brim. I have been trying
to create a select statement that will let me move tapes that haven't
been accessed in X days out of the library. Anyone have a script like
this already? I would be happy with just identifying the tapes and
manually moving them.
Following up to myself, because others may benefit from the answer too.

doing anything with it. It was set up by someone else and I was only
checking from time to time that it seemed running. We had the library

Raghu,
I had a simular issue with TSM 4.2 on AIX 4.3, with 3575 Tape

This is what I did.
Re-create the library in TSM:
- checkout libvols remove=no
- delete library
- create library
- checkin libv
On another simular box I had the same issue but this time the
issue was solved when I

I would run an AUDIT LIBRARY blah CHECKLBAEL=barcode when your
drives are not in use and then look at actlog and see what changes occur.
This will generally clear these problems.
What library model do you have?
