What you really should do is synchronize the library: audit library libname checklabel=barcode checkin libvol libname search=yes checklabel=barcode status=scratch checkin libvol libname search=yes checklabel=barcode status=private
Make sure you issue the two checkin commands in the order I've shown. Audit library will help TSM to checkout volumes that it doesn't find but it will not checkin volumes that it does find! If you have a tape in the library that TSM does not know about, the audit won't fix that up. To fix that up you need to do the checkin commands above. The order is important since you generally don't want to check scratch tapes in as private. Let us know! Kelly J. Lipp Storage Solutions Specialists, Inc. This will generally clear these problems. What library model do you have? David Longo >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11/08/01 10:26AM >>> I have TSM ver 4.1.2.1 and I'm using : checkout libvol lb0.0.0.2 aax123 remove=bulk to CHECKOUT volumes from the library and checkin libvol lb0.0.0.2 aax456 status=scratch to CHECKIN volumes. The console indicates the Library is full and then completes with a failure.
