Hi Andrea,
This entries in the inclexcl list should be:
exclude *
include D:\Oracle\backup\dev8i.dmp MCBKUP4
BUT:
remember to restart the scheduler service on the client machine after you have
chnaged the settings in the client options!!! Otherwise the TSM client will
still go on using the "old"
Hi all,
I'm working with the TSM client 4.2.1 on a Linux machine and want to delete all
the TSM nodes/passwords/encryption keys saved on that machine. But I could not
find the TSM.PWD file where the encryption key and the TSM password should be
saved in. Can anybody give me a little help where TS
Hi Wolf-Christian,
if you have included your .pst files to subfile backup the TSM client is using
the subfile feature in the following way. At the first time TSM is sending the
base file to the server. Afterwards the changes will be send as a delta file by
byte level (1 kB to 3 MB) or block le
Hi Christian,
you have just to use the line "include.encryption *" in your dsm.opt file. This
will choose all of your data to be encrypted before transfered to the TSM
server. If you only want to use encryption on some specific data than you have
to change * to whatever you like (d:\documents\...

Hi,
I have the same problems with some Windows clients. And I tried to use the
UNC and the drive letter of the shared drives in the inclexcl list to back
them up. I have had a contact to Tivoli support regarding this but I'm still
not secure when to use UNC or drive letters in the inclexcl list.
I can see that you are using prompted mode for the scheduler. Did
you try using polling mode?

The same happened with the Windows code 4.1.2.14. You cannot find it anymore
on the webpage of Tivoli. Only the code of version 4.1.2.12 is remaining. It
would be very interesting to hear something more about the reasons for the
removal.
Greetings
Thomas
