I had the same problem. Never restore a different client with the W2K/NT
Client version 4.2.x.
This must be a bug or a feature of the 4.2.x client version..
Older clients had'nt this problem

My Problem is, that one of our tapes in the library is destroyed.
I thought, no problem we have a outside copy pool...
restore volume A00xxx preview=yes
shows me about 105 tapes
now I have to checkin 105 tapes..
Is this possible?
We are using TSM 4.1.3 / AIX 4.3.3...

i have two new IBM 3590-B1A drives but they don't work...

ANR8420E DEFINE DRIVE: An I/O error occurred while accessing drive 3590_3.
ANS8001I Return code 3.
Has anyone seend the same problem??
