With NT, you have to install a temporary NT, make a full restore and copy
the adsm.sys content to :
DSMC RES C:\ADSM.SYS\REGISTRY\\MACHINE\*.* C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\
I heard that for WIN2000, it was not necessary to work with a temporary
installation an

So, I have to focus on my SAN configuration. The problem is between the TSM
Server and the library.

Indeed, registry is backed up if you make a full incremental backup with
domain=all-local. Once you give limitations to your domain (like with
c:\*.¨*), you exclude the system objects.

Indeed ... All you can do is re-run the audit volume command with parameter
fix=yes. That way, corrupted file will be declared as unusable and try a

TSM NT Server 4.1.2 is not available anymore on the WEB site.

have 1 dsm.opt file and so pointing to the
same management => 1 retention policy

The only way to archive data wihtout using client is to GENERATE
BACKUPSET

I have, on TSM 3.7.3, the following jobs :
- Generate daily backupsets and checkout for offsite storage
- Deleting the backupsets older than 30days via the following command :
del backupset * * enddate=today-30 and calling the tape back on site
A query backupset shows that it succeeded
running TSM 3.7.3 - I don't use the DRM
module option.
