Hi Steve,
this sounds pretty much like a DB corruption, but I would be very hesitant
to run the auditdb command without verification by TSM support. It might be
dangerous and it can take a lot of time if you run it without specification
of a special area. With an 11 GB DB it took about 36 hours,

I did the upgrade from ADSM 3.1 to TSM 4.

We had that problem as well, and the only way to get rid of it, was to run an
audit DB (must be at least ADSM 3.1.2.90). There
We had the same problem, and the solution was:
TSA500 requires IPX to authenticate to the filesystem on the console.
You will have the same effect with scrsaver.nlm. Trying to unlock, it will
check your rights to the server object, which will fail without IPX.

TDP for Domino requires the new funtionality Transaction Logging of Notes 5

appearing in the process list. Unfortunately, I do not know any method to
determine, is a session is currently using a tape drive.

Hi Christoph,
just a guess, do you have the same name space applied to the new volume?

rface for PERL using dsmadmc, but I
think, gathering information from a DB into a report, and parsing the report
to get the field content is not the best way to do it.
Any hint to help me to go in the right direction is very much appreciated.

achieve this on your own? Write a
script that collects a list of all tapes assigned to the dedicated stgpool
and preform a loop with the command on that list.

does not meet the SCSI specifications and
therefore reports an "undetermined error".
It might be, that there was a short communication problem on the SCSI bus,
however, I would contact the technical support of the vendor to get
clarification.

know that RedHat 7.0 has a
special version of the glibc and gcc installed, which is not binary
compatible to non-RedHat binaries. Is this client compiled for RedHat 7.0?

Any ideas? Many thanks in advanced.

Hello all,
recently I've upgraded our TDP for Domino on NT to Version 1.1.1 including
Testfix. As a result, the message numbers have changed from ANR4991 to
ACDxxx, which works fine accept ACD5211, which is the statistic after backing
up the archive logs; the statistics are missing and they ar

A file migrated from tape is the same file in the primary storage pool, and
therfore it will not be copied again if a copy already exists.

Hi all,
due to missing DB backups, our recovery log exeeded 95%. As a result, some
records of the log got compressed, which prevent a DB backup to occur. The
process stops with the following error:
