The installation completed successfully.
There is nothing in any of the Domino error logs.
There is nothing in the NT Event Logs.
The client is a Windows 2000 server.

Save the empty file as dominc.log
The GUI interface should work now.

I have a Windows 2000 Client running TSM version 5.1.6.7.

In the DSMsched.log, you see the last thing it backed up was 'Successful

Here's how we resolved the problem.
It turned out to be a copy of nnotes.dll in the Winnt folder.
They had some problem installing the new version of Domino and were
instructed to remove that dll, but they moved it into Winnt. Winnt was in

Thanks for the tips, I've tried them, but still have no success.
I checked the registry key and it's correct. I also tried the domdsmc set

I've read lots of good stuff in the Archives about this, but none of them

Here's the scoop:
Just switched from Windows 2000 server running 5.1.7.0 to a 2003 Server

It was a net new server and new installation of TSM. We did not migra

Hi all.
I'm impatiently awaiting a call back from TSM Support.
I just installed a new TSM Server under Windows 2003 - Version 5.2.1.0
Along with it we installed a new IBM 3584 library with IBM LTO drives in

I turn it off for all my remote clients, so I don't have to pull all that
data across the wire every single day.
I usually just let it run for the clients that are in-house, you j

Has this ever happened to you?
I have only two tape drives, so they pretty much run non-stop.
But when someone goes in to do a restore, whatever is running gets

But sometimes.for some reason..TSM does not preempt what

It looks like you want to get any directory at that level, I use a \...\ to
do it in Windows.
Example:
Exclude *:\...\Profiles\...\ntuser.dat*
Not sure if this converts to your OS.

It seems like maybe the problem actually started when I went from 4.1 to

Are the directories (or some of them) on disk? TSM will use the onsite disk
copy to reclaim the offsite copy and used to do this very inefficiently.
What server level are you running? This is fixed somewhere around 5.1.6.

Yes, it's forever and 2 days with no tape drive contention.
We're using 3590E1A's, but moving to LTO in the next 30 to 60 days.
I only have 12 volumes utilized in the Copy Dirs pool. So we've turned
over the specific volumes a number of times. So I don't think it's any
