We had similar problems when we first started replication to an offsite
server. The Oracle backups would get confused with the extra
stanza's replication put in the dsm.opt/sys files so we had to stop
replicating Oracle DB backup nodes. Since the Oracle folks run their own

Hmmm. I don't have experience with DP with non-root users. I've only come
across this issue when two nodes would compete for the same file, first one
succeeds, second one fails because the file is locked.
