Hello Ken
Thanks for the info What is the recommendation for O.C 7.1 about
resources (memory ) , and if I can create it on a VM machine ?
By the way create a spoke server just for testing and didn't find a way on the
gui how to delete it !
Best Regards Robert

Another thought: is the file excluded from backup? Try backing up the file
manually. Does that work? If not, what happens?
If that does not shed any light then a PMR with our support folks is a
likely next step.
Best regards,

Hello all
Can I install TSM operations Center V7.1.0 over my Version 6.4.1 when still my
servers backup are at version 6.3.4.200 . Planning to upgrade them later to
version 7.1.0
Or need first to upgrade the servers before ?
Regards Robert
You need a hub server at v7.1. It will let you upgrade but you will not be
able to use it until you get a v7.1 hub. BTW the upgrade is super fast. The
TSM server upgrade was also easy in my environment.

Thanks Andy.
1. No entries in the .log files. SNAPSHOTPROVIDERFS VSS already in our .opt

2. User stated he generally shuts his PC down every night.

Hi David,
This will probably require a call to IBM support to gather some trace
data.
Thank you,

Hi all. I received a request last week from one of our users to restore a
OneNote package file. And he wanted the last version copy of what we had.
I brought up the TSM client (active and inactive files) and saw that there was
only one copy of the file and it was dated 11/25/13. User stated h
I am trying to do an SQL Application Protection backup using TSM/VME 6.4.1.0.
I am getting the following in dsmerror:

Hi Jeannie,
A couple of thoughts:
1. Are there any entries in the TSM dsmsched.log or dsmerror.log files
indicating that the file was skipped, probably because it was in use? If
yes, then consider using the SNAPSHOTPROVIDERFS option to use VSS
(preferred) or LVSA (if XP) to leverage TSM's Open Fi
I added a tsm.conf file in /etc/ld.so.conf.d directory, then run ldconfig.
Tsm.conf:

/usr/local/ibm/gsk8_64/lib64

Hello,
I have some trouble with nuerical UIDs of files of a TSM Linux
client.
We replaced a fileserver, connected it the exisiting SAN Disks
and did the first incremental TSM Backup.
For some reason ldap was unconfigured and the ownership of all files
was updated in the TSM from account name to
