I've looked around but can't find a way to install the Microsoft Mgmt Console
on a PC.
It got installed on the server during the setup steps.
How do I get that console on my PC?
Thanks, Harold.
Hi Steve,
Yes, that is the APAR I have in mind. The behavior you cited is what you
will get after applying the fix (which is not yet available). The fix is
currently targeted for 4Q2011, probably closer to the end of the year.

Good afternoon all,
In my continued effort to update my environment I have a few
questionshere's some info on what I am trying to do.
Current setup:

This is an lto2 tape library that I need to replace and move the current

Thanks, Andy! IC75871 does seem to match, but the client's dsm.opt did not
explicity set the AUTODEPLOY option. Since I was at 6.2.2, I assume the default
was AUTODEPLOY=YES, but as I say, it was not explicitly set.
So it seems to me I should be in this case:

Hi Steve,
If you go to the URL in my sig and search on AUTODEPLOY NOREBOOT, I think
you'll find an APAR that matches your symptoms.

Hello all,
I'm currently testing the autodeploy feature of TSM 6.2. When creating a
schedule, I deliberately did NOT check the autoreboot box in the wizard and,
indeed, the generated command shows AUTODEPLOY=NOREBOOT. When the update ran, I
happened to be RDPd into the server and got a popup a
We have a new TSM 6.2.2.0 server running under mainframe Linux. It has a
primary storage pool on file devices and a copy pool on TS1120 tape. The
tape library is located in a different building than the server and its
clients, so we do not eject and vault copy pool volumes. We normally run

Hello,
It is essential that the client and server versions are married (it is true
that there is the possibility of TDP clients work with newer versions of older
servers, the rule of the previous version.)
Another inportant fact is that the version of TDP support the version of SQL.
