This is a "Friday afternoon, just about to go home" guess:
If your AIX box doesn't have the X11 libraries installed, (for example if
it is headless), you may need SWING, which needs AWT, which comes in one
of the X11 filesets.
If installing X11 filesets resolves the issue, then the install doc wo
Hi Zoltan,
I would check the zone sets carefully to make sure one of the drives isn't
missing out of one of the zones. (One zone per initiator, right?)
Often a tape drive WWNN changes when a drive is replaced, and updating one
of the zones gets skipped.

The posting referred to a February 2009 discussion where no resolution was
posted, and no feedback regarding a suggestion to review the DB2 logs.

We have about a dozen TSM client systems with DB2 running under
x86 Linux. These systems use the TSM API interface built into DB2
to back up the DB2 databases. We always use separate node names
for DB2 backups and ordinary file backups. About half of the DB2

DB2 data base, but they are different versions of DB2 and not
compatible.
There is a flash somewhere that says how to run them together on AIX
(even though it's still not recommended), but no way to do it on
Windows.

1) if you use the virtualnodename option, I do not think that you have to use
the set access option.
2) I believe that you can use a global admin userid, a client admin userid or

Is it possible to run TSM Reporting & Monitoring on the same server (W2K8 R2

stated that it's not possible, but I was just wondering.
Met vriendelijke groet, with kind regards,
