I didn't know it is getting more and more exiting on good old boring

Hello, I am new to TSM and the ADSM list.
I have a few questions if anyone would like to respond.
I am running SQL queries against the TSM database.
Some of these queries are not using indexes, and
are taking a long time to complete.

Fred,
"COPY"-type backups are an Exchange Server defined entity.
SQL Server does not have a COPY-type legacy-style backup.
For DP/SQL, you can either use the second node solution,
or use FILE, GROUP, or SET type backups.

Hi Pierre,
It is working correctly. This is the same way it works
when backing up "files" to the TSM Server.
If you want to have DP/Exchange backups with different policies...
One way that many customers are doing this is to use

Does anyone heard about problems concerning the binding of Exchange
datas on a specific management class.
I am having troubles to restore datas.
We have two backup procedure, one runing on a daily basis, with a
management class with 7 days retention
And one other procedure, runing on a week basis
Yes, it all depends on your situation. If the current on is on SSA you can
export/import the volume groups.
Same if it is on SAN storage.
