Off the top of my head, I don't see anything inherently wrong with the
script (syntax-wise).
However, if you are going after just backup or archive info, then you are
gboing to pick up a lot more than that. Try adding a WHERE clause like
this:

You may have missed it, as the reason that prompted my question was
buried in one of the later replies - basically I need to have a
"special" storage pool for a limited set of machines
Select 'MOVE DATA', VOLUME_NAME, 'STG=WIN-POOL' from volumes where
ACCESS='OFFSITE' and PCT_UTILIZED <=
60
I need to make:
Move data TAP017 STGPOOL=WIN-POOL
Move data TAP055 STGPOOL=WIN-POOL
Move data TAP214 STGPOOL=WIN-POOL
Can somebody say I eat up to make it?
TSM 5.3.
I need to make MOVE DATA of the volumes that complete certain condition.
Ej:
Select VOLUME_NAME from volumes where ACCESS='OFFSITE' and PCT_UTILIZED <=
60
VOLUME_NAME
TAP017
TAP055
TAP214
I need to make:
Move data TAP017 STGPOOL=WIN-POOL
Move data TAP05

Hi,
Reading the threat and missing something. Why another stg?
For normal backup data I like to use JBOD config. No read protection at
all and maximum usable GB per disk. In order to minimize the number of
storage pools needed, ITSM 5.3 has the collecation by group option.
So, my 5.2 config is

Use MOVe Data to transfer the population of your old offsite tapes to
the replacements, which will call for onsite tapes.

The license manager component of the 5.3.2 download pack is v5.3.0, so it
appears I had the correct one all along.

I only have a 5.3.0 CD and the file from that one cannot be loaded. I have the
5.3.2 download so I'll see if I can find a licensing module in there.
Thanks.

we are currently replacing all tapes with new ones. This is done once a year.
In the past we just replaced old scratch tapes with new ones, labelled them
and off we go. The procedure for dbbackup or dbsnapshot media was similar.
This year we experience a new Problem: We have set up DRM
