I agree it seems to be a network issue. Typically when I know I haven't done
anything from the client/server end I typically go there first.
Unfortunately sometimes I get the standard response "nothing has changed".
As for the dsmwebcl.log nothing odd there. Since these are my nodes it could

Geoff, I think those messages come from the CAD. Any remote users who
might be doing something with this client via the web client GUI? Did you
search the TSM server actlog for the node name in that time frame (maybe
scan for a few hours before the 4am messages up to the 6:30 am or so).

Nothing on this problem makes any sense. Someone asked how I could get a
filename with a / in it on a windows server, well there are none so why
would the error says there are is beyond me?
As far as the timing for all of this? The dsmerror logs show these messages
logged between 4 and 6:30 AM. Th
Given your symptoms, my first line of attack would be to assume that
those clients do not have resourceutitization set to 1 and are taking
the default of 2 sessions per client. How have you confirmed that your
server client option setting is being honored?

For 2003, you need to be running at least client 5.2.3, or it isn't
going to work.
TSM 5.3.2 is better.
Look in the client manual under "ASR".
Works like a champ.

The ANS1301E message is telling you that some problem was detected on your
TSM server. That is a clue where to look next.

It is very difficult to tell what is going on with just two or three
messages picked out of the error log file more context is needed. What
else did you look at in trying to identify what is happening?

Hello,
Does TDP for SQL Server support SQL Server 2005 Express Edition?
Thanks,
Yi
I have a number of clients failing with this error. I know they all don't
have restores in progress.
My branch of IBM link seems to be down so I can't open a problem at this
time.
I'm running TSM on ZOS and the server Version 5, Release 2, Level 4.0.
I have a mixture of clients Net Ware and Wind
In the Windows client manual, review topic "Before you perform an
image backup" for the requirements for that kind of backup, and
documentation of the IMAGETYpe option. The requirements are stringent.
