Hi all, I create a schedule to backup but I don't see any option to choose file or directory for backup with Incremental as TSM ver 5.2. It is only available for backup with selective. When I report, I always see status of schedule : Missed. I linked schedule to client and started service sched

Yes, it is hierarchical storage management, and it is available for TSM clients running AIX, Solaris, and (I think) HP-UX. Unfortunately, there is not a TSM-based solution for Windows clients at this time IBM's eventual plans for SanFS include HSM as a policy-based storage hierarchy. -- Mark Stap

IMPORT NODE - now having problems restoring data - authentication problems?

Hi, what I want to do is: If there is a Restore coming to the tsm server, I want to start a program before TSM starts the restore to do some work, like prefetching tapes in a vts. The restore is started via the tsm client gui, no other way. In some other products, it is "calling an exit". Thanks
