Between Firday afternnon and Sunday evening, I exported 7

Thanks. I gave it a try and have it working on both INTEL based
machines and UNIX. It's a nice addition to have.
Thanks for all the help,

JR,
What would be wrong with just doing :

Unless your question is just an SQL concern I think this will give you
just what you are looking for!

See http://msgs.adsm.org/cgi-bin/get/adsm0501/349/1.html for a suggested

Hi List,
Has anyone done a migration from a CommVault solution to ITSM?
We are hoping to be able to preserve some or all of the backup history
of versions following the move to using ITSM.
If the data were not able to be stored in ITSM, then the next question
is whether or not you can read the data
Hello my fellow TSMrs
Since I had such a great turnout with my last question maybe I can get help
on this one.
I installed AIX TSM client on one p570 split into two lpars(instances)
My server is running version 5.1
I installed client 5.3
IS this an incompatibility
Also the client is 64 bit.

Hi,
In admin ref. guide v5.2 under dsmserv format it states that I should use
the file, initnode.dat. Where is it? Is there any other file I should run?
I cant find the file on my 5.2.0.0 or 5.2.2.0 CD´s when I search the whole
CD, or in the 5.2.2.5 package I downloaded?
And dsmfmt is under \tsm\c
I think you got the idea now. What you propose would work just fine.
Now the only thing you have to consider is the type of image backup you
will do. Please read the manual on this since you will have a few
options and it will really depend on your particular environment.

Hi Eric,
For your example, \\MOLSON\C$\DATA\status.txt, the correct criteria would
be:
filespace_name='\\MOLSON\C$' and
hl_name='\DATA\' and
ll_name='STATUS.TXT'
For Windows, note that:
- All components are stored in upper case, regardless of how they appear
on the client machine.

Mark,
I guess I'm just wondering how I could have daily, weekly, and monthly
backups automated under a single node name. What I'm gathering is that
you would have to schedule dailys (M-F) a weekly image backup (Saturday)
and a monthly archive (Sunday). You can have 3 different data retention

Sung,
If you read the Administrator's Reference Guide it explains it clearly.
"dsmserv format" can only be followed by a "dsmserv restore db", however
a "dsmserv loadformat" can be followed by either a "dsmserv restore db"
or a "dsmserv loaddb". The "dsmserv loadformat" is a newer command that

Ars,
Maybe I am missing the point here, but I will offer a solution based on
what I understand your situation to be. Apparently you are using to

correct? I am going to assume you are using DRM or at least I am hoping
you are. The
David,
I don't see why you would need multiple nodes on a single system. You
can simply run a separate schedule that does image backup. Then you can
use include.image statements to control the management class that the
image is bound to.
I think that answers your question, but if mot repost and I

Hi,
I've tried to do my search in the manuals before I post this.
What I would like to do is to filter out some messages from going to the TEC
console. As far as I could understand I can enable all messages to the TEC
or none.
Does this stand or am I missing something ?
Thanks
