Are you using the built in DB2 support to go straight to TSM?
If so, DB backups are deleted manually using the db2adutl utility.
Find out how this is being issued - you will then have the opportunity to keep some
backups longer, perhaps by scripting the delete process.

watch your process, analyze the bottleneck, see what tuning knobs you have to ease the

One that I recently had was that the AIX admin changed an "no" parameter and so I

Hi list,

So far I have installed at the AIX machine the TDP for Informix, the API and the

I upgrade to this version from 5.1.5.4 to fix a hang problem. Thanks.

The IBM NAS box behaves as a WINdows file server.
You back it up as a regular client, which means Yes, you register it as a
node on your TSM server.
If you look in the IBM NAS Redbook, it even has a chapter on backup options.

Joni,
To find the versions, you can query the BACKUPS table. For example:
select filespace_name || hl_name || ll_name
as "File Name ",
cast(backup_date as char(19))
as "Backup Date"
from backups

Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if it is possible to use a select statement to find
all files and all of the versions of the each file for a particular node?
And is there a way to find all files that will still exist after 95 days

Bill,
Domino ACL's are not "touched" by DP for Domino.
They are completely managed by Domino.
By the way, the Domino server needs to be
able to open each database, otherwise it
cannot manage (back up, compact, etc.) the database.
I suggest opening a PMR. If this problem
is recreatable, DP for Do

Mark, thanks for the suggestion about the system state.
But my question was more for the "roaming profiles" that are stored on about
10 w2k servers for all our final users. These profiles are made of numerous
small files (recent, cookies, desktop, favorites...)
