actually had a successful DR of 4 AIX boxes without one bad volume, but still need to
prove the validity of offsite volumes..

define the TSM scheduler service and it works fine for running a scheduled
backup.

it seems like the password is lost form the registry. The client

TSM data is not an "ideal" application for a VTS because TSM writes tapes
util they are full, which means anything that gets recalled to the VTS (say
to restore a file) has to bring back the whole "virtual tape", not just the
