Good day!
I'm trying to install the system on VirtualBox, but the process is
very slow. Is this normal?

Hi all.
During installation I chose 1024x768x24 vesa mode, and all was OK. But
after reboot and logged under glenda, I have blank screen, also the
same result after
aux/vga -m vesa -l 1024x768x24
Any suggestion?

Thanks for the replies.
1. -vga std/vmware options on QEMU have no effect
2. bit mode change has no effect too (only "artefact line" on top of

I found workaround. After installation need rebuild terminal kernel
'pcf', and replace installed, after that all seems works fine. Maybe
need modify CD installation image?
Thanks.
Under WIndows XP I cannot copy these files
sys\src\9\boot\aux.c
sys\src\cmd\con\con.c =)
and these directories
sys\src\cmd\con\
sys\src\cmd\aux\
from Plan 9 source tree, because Windows don't allow anyone create
directories or files with names "aux", "con".
*LOL*
I want to build Plan9 from scratch under Windows/*NIX.
I built working (seems :) toolchain (yacc, 8a, 8c, 8l) under Windows
XP using Open Watcom Compiller.
Has anyone done something similar?

Video mode problem under VirtualBox
After installation, under VB 2.1.8, I encountered the same problem
that has been under QEMU:
http://groups.google.com/group/comp.os.plan9/browse_thread/thread/bb7e753ab87ef983/d5e35c3374f58902
And solution the exact same, rebuild kernel:
