I've caught NIX up to 9front tip of tree. All works.
I've backed out one set of changes, to fpu.c.
There's a lingering problem: in the original NIX, at the end of system
calls, we had a function, fakeretfromsyscall, which we called on the tcore,
as we exited back out to the acore.

To bring it full circle, Boyd Roberts was from New South Wales, so chances are
he used the word boofhead more than once, probably with a grin and a bit of
cheek. He had a great sense of humour.
This spring marks 20 years since his passing. Good friends like him are never
forgotten.
