Any 9 dudes going to IO in SFO real soon? I will be around abouts so may be
good for an informal IWP9 beer and loud loud music.

Generally, I think you'll find the answer is "we quite like it".
The main reason it is the way it is (and, talking about just
the UI, it's more or less been this way since 1989) is that
folks who become familiar with the system generally find
it quite powerful. You talk

Strange Is the x86 installation on real hardware or under
a VM? If the latter, the underlying OS may be doing the right

Plot doesn't have any redraw in eresized(). It would need to redraw
the screen and reprocess the data for the new size. Fixing this
would probably fix devdraw cocoa versions as well and enable the
server option.
This could be why devdraw on Mountain Lion also ends up with a
blank screen.

Using 9pfuse:
9pfuse sources.cs.bell-labs.com /n/sources
Using v9fs:
mount -t 9p 204.178.31.11 /n/sources
You can also do the same using
D--n!
My fault: I had created a function named ag in rcmain (my first try
involved a function and writing :ag something to test how to call rc
functions from within acme and get this search feature working.) I had
completely forgotten until a few seconds ago: removing it makes it
work as expected.
Hi,
I am running Richard Miller's port of Plan 9
on the Raspberry Pi. It's great!
However, I have a little trouble using my
German USB keyboard with it. The Umlauts (ä, ö, etc.)
work fine; however, the key with "<", ">" and "|"
does not work at all. It seems like the scan code

Hello 9fans,
I've been a user of 3 button IBM mice (40K9203, also sold under the

me to use two mice. There's 40K9201 which does have a scroll wheel

srv -n sources.cs.bell-labs.com sources

it's actually exactly the same as plan 9; you could use
plan 9's

Hello,
can I do something like '9fs sources' but in p9p so that I could read
p9 (not port) sources in linux?
I'd guess it is possible, but I don't know how...
Thanks!

Yields only a lonely, blank window.
Using drawterm connected to a native Plan 9, it's working
but if I drag the window, the plot disappears (the window
becomes blank).
