Re: Downloading templates
Mike, It doesn't look like your posting was answered. If not, this may help. You can put downloaded templates anywhere you want. However, you must "Import" the template for it to be listed in the templates list. This is done by choosing File -> Templates -> Organize and in the dialog that appears, select (double-click) your template folder, probably "My Templates" or whichever folder you want in the left list panel. Then under "Commands", there should be an Import Template option. Select that and a file selection dialog should appear. Search for your new template and select it, then "Open". Your new template should then appear in the list of templates (i.e.: New -> Templates and Documents). I am not sure if you can delete the downloaded template file after it is imported. I suspect you can, but I am not sure. I have never tested it. HTH. The Original Poster's issue is that despite being listed on the AOo Template site, the templates they would like to use, are not available for downloading from that site. Basically, somebody with the appropriate rights, needs to walk through the Template repository, and either deleting, or marking on the page, that the template is either no longer distributed by AOo, or was never available via AOo. (My guess is that between 5% and 10% of the listed templates are not downloadable, due to one of those two reasons.) jonathon - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org
Downloading issues
I have made several attempts to download the Open Office application onto my Windows 7 laptop. The download begins normally, indicating a download time of approximately 20-30 minutes. However, at random points during the download, the download slows to a crawl and then it says 8-12 hours remaining. Essentially, the download has stopped. What can I do? I've looked at the mirror sites, and I'm not sure what file(s) I need to download to install Open Office. Please advise. Thank you! Barry
Download issue
I have made another attempt at downloading the application. It indicates the download is 134 MB in size, but it seems to slow to a crawl at around 67 MB and then stop altogether as though it has completed the download. Please advise. Could I download this on another computer and then transfer the installer to this computer as an option? I looked at the mirror sites and I see many files so I am not sure which one(s) to download. Please advise. Thank you!

I used the resume to create a resume and was told I would be charged 1.95. So far, I have received no emails and no receipts. Who do I contact. Thank you, Toni Drost
