Bless hex editor

2019-07-03 Thread Yeshayohu Zirkind
Hello,

I noticed that Bless hasn't been updated for a while, so I went digging
around and found that it is no longer hosted at gna.org - it is now hosted
on GitHub (https://github.com/afrantzis/bless).
The current version in Ubuntu repositories is 0.6.0-5.1, while on GitHub it
has been updated to v0.6.2.

I would like to see the updated version included in the next Ubuntu
release, but I am unsure as to whom I should contact about this.
If this is the wrong address, please advise as to where I should forward
this.

Thank you
Yeshayohu Zirkind

2019-07-03 Thread Thomas Ward
Digging into this, this package is *automatically* imported from
Debian.  It looks to me like the last update that went into Debian was
in 2009 with packaging updates since.  So I would say that this package
is orphaned up in Debian.

That said, I would open a bug in Debian indicating that it is an
extremely out of date, possibly orphaned package.

Note that I have CC'd the corresponding Debian team in my response to
this message here, so hopefully they see it.
