I am so sorry that maybe I give a wrong way for yours.

Is not the shift button problem.

Is the Caps Lock button problem.

I am so so sorry that to make the wrong way and waste times for yours.

When I still shift with the caps lock button to input the Capital
Letters, after off the caps lock rapidly it is still typing in Capital
Letter.(occur in second word only)

You can try switch on the caps lock to type and switch off it
immediately and continues typing.

Thank you and sorry about that.

2008-05-17 Thread Me
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 104432 ***

I restarted it and it worked fine. I restarted it agin and it didn't
work.

Copying and pasting text works fine but if I copy text and then copy an
image the text that I copied is pasted and not the image. Also there is
no reference in the history to the image.

I have changed the status of this bug to confirmed.

[Bug 173524] Re: ispell does not work in emacs22

2008-01-22 Thread me
I have found a way to reproduce this bug, install any package that pulls in
ispell, and /usr/lib/ispell/ becomes populated. This breaks the call from emacs
to aspell for some reason, and ispell gets used instead. Now since there is no
english ispell dictionary installed, spell checking stops working (at least
partly). See also
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dictionaries-common/+bug/179523
A temporary fix for the problem is to run

 sudo apt-get autoremove ispell

This will however break other dependencies.

To get spell checking working in emacs for your native language run

sudo apt-get install aspell-ru

I noticed that installing language-support-sv adds ispell-sv instead of
aspell-sv as it should have.

[Bug 140554] Re: X crashes gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0

2007-12-04 Thread me
Same problem for me, but with a twist.

I get

gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0

as the only message in syslog. It happens at night a few hours after I
stop using the machine, but only on nights when I leave firefox running.
The machine is a brand new Dell XPS M1330 with an external monitor
connected running the binary nvidia drivers and ubuntu 7.10. My best
guess is that it is the crash_x_and_die counter in firefox that reaches
zero.

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 412152 ***

I do not believe this is duplicate of bug #412152 which talks about thresholds,
this issue happens to me as well, since upgrading to 9.10 I get a warning for
many bad sectors
which I do not believe exist. I get different values every time all in the
"pending sector count"
even though I have 0 reallocated sectors.
at one point I also saw a negative value (see screen-shot attached)

[Bug 1651216] Re: Lubuntu 16.10 64bit installation crash at partition step

2016-12-19 Thread Me :)
I actually succeeded in performing the installation, with the media I had.
I already check the integrity of the iso I downloaded and it was OK.
The onlly thing I changed in the way of installing is that I used gparted prior
to launching the installation to erase all partition I could have on my disk.
(booting on the Live CD)
Then the installation occured without any issue.

What may caused the problem is that the 1st partition was actually a
"backup" one, used by the manufacturer

[Bug 1579712] Re: Refresh hangs indefinitely, appstreamcli using 100% CPU

2016-05-20 Thread Me
#24 worked for me BUT with the addition of removing leftover lock files first:

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock
sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock

Dangerous if anything apt related still running - but I think a lot of
people will CTRL-C their way out of "apt-get update" of somehow try to
kill a hung update-manager.

[Bug 1545776] Re: 14.04 kernel does not log exec properly and aa-logprof fails

2016-04-14 Thread Me
On Ubuntu 15.10 (4.2.0-16-generic) aa-genprof creates a similarly broken
profile.

On Ubuntu 16.04 beta 2 (4.4.0-15-generic) the "name" field is now
present in syslog when operation="exec" and aa-genprof gives
/usr/bin/find cx permission and creates a child profile. Running the
profile in enforce mode is successful.

Any chance whatever was done to fix it in the kernel can be backported
to 14.04 and 12.04 since most users will probably be stuck with those
versions for a long time to come?

Mouse pointer is corrupting many times per day, on the second screen it looks

[Bug 962018] [NEW] Dual Monitor (non-mirored) wont work since Update 9th March

2012-03-22 Thread me
Public bug reported:

The following error message comes:

"The selected configuration for displays could not be applied"
"required virtual size does not fit available size: requested=(2560, 1024),
minimum=(320, 200), maximum=(1280, 1280)"

Click "Close"

A second error message comes:

[Bug 1540194] [NEW] OpenGL stutter and freeze when rotation = Counterclockwise

2016-01-31 Thread Me
Public bug reported:

My PC is an Intel Core I3 and I use the built-in HD 4600 graphics. My
display is 1680x1050, connected via DVI-D, Ubuntu version is 15.10
64-bit.

I do a fresh Ubuntu install and install and run glmark2. The horse spins
smoothly.

I set "System settings -> Displays -> Rotation" to "Counterclockwise",
rotate my display and run glmark2 again. The horse totally stutters.

When the rotation is "Counterclockwise" other OpenGL applications will
even freeze.

[Bug 1540194] Re: OpenGL stutter and freeze when rotation = Counterclockwise

2016-03-03 Thread Me
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected compiz-0.9 ubuntu wily

** Description changed:

My PC is an Intel Core I3 and I use the built-in HD 4600 graphics. My
display is 1680x1050, connected via DVI-D, Ubuntu version is 15.10
  64-bit.

I do a fresh Ubuntu install and install and run glmark2. The horse spins
  smoothly.

I set "System settings -> Displays -> Rotation" to "Counterclockwise",
rotate my display and run glmark2 again. The horse totally stutters.

- When the rotation is "Counterclockwise" other OpenGL applications will
- even freeze.
+ When the rotation is "Counterclockwise" other OpenGL applications will even
freeze.
