[Bug 531835] Re: Fonts are very small
I think Jordi's patch is the only one that makes sense. Same problem here. I'm on a Sony VAIO notebook. Dist-upgraded from Karmic yesterday. cat /proc/fb reports: 0 inteldrmfb What happens is: 1) I see grub in graphical mode (I configured it to be 1280x800) 2) Screen goes blank in text mode (big underline cursor at top of screen) 3) Screen blinks 4) Screen goes blank in graphics mode (small underline cursor at top of screen) 5) Screen blinks 6) I get GDM Sometimes there's a flash of text displaying a few kernel messages betweens steps 4 and 5. [Bug 750825] [NEW] Gnome Screensaver doesn't stop when resuming activity
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver I updated to Natty Beta yesterday and just today I realized that, after leaving the computer for to have lunch, I couldn't get the screensaver to stop. Even killing the 'gnome-screensaver' process didn't seem to help. I had to restart X to get my destkop back to a usable state. [Bug 637347] Re: Banshee not responding in Ubuntu 10.10 Beta
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 448533 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448533 I'm still having this problem. [Bug 637347] Re: Banshee not responding in Ubuntu 10.10 Beta
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 448533 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448533 Well, that was some retarded error reporting on my part. Missed most of the information that'd make debugging easier :) So, I'm on Maverick Meekrat, with all updates installed. Banshee version is 1.7.6 (from package 1.7.6-0ubuntu1). Enabling debug information for Banshee and Addins doesn't seem to produce any interesting information (debug info for a healthy instance and a freezing one are pretty much the same). The problem seems to come and go. Sometimes Banshee will load and work without a hitch, then next time it'll freeze on load. Using --disable- dbus seems to fix it every time, but then I lose the ability to control Banshee from the keyboard, etc. I see a fix has been released, but either it's not yet in the Meekrat repos, or it isn't working for me. Where could I download a version of Banshee with the fix and try for myself? -- Banshee not responding in Ubuntu 10.10 Beta https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/637347 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
