Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
I'm filing this under compiz but I'm not sure this is the right package, please move to the corresponding package if needed. The problem I'm having is that certain windows that open as maximized (for example Firefox, XChat, and a few others) display an ugly 1px gap from the border of the screen on both the right and left sides. If I then proceed to restore/minimize and re-maximize the screen the problem disappears. Weirdly enough other applications like Chrome seem to display correctly on the first go, every single time. I'm attaching an screenshot of said problem in an XChat window.
