[Bug 244405] [NEW] ubuntu freezes on log out or switch user
Public bug reported: well i think there might be a lot of duplicates of this but i think that i am having a slightly different problem. ubuntu starts normally and i can log in, but once i am logged in, when i try to log out or switch user, i just get a blank screen and I have to do a hard reboot in order to fix it. Public bug reported: Basically, if the proprietary ATI graphics driver is not enabled in "Hardware Drivers", suspend will not work. It will go into suspend, but it will not come out. recovery partition and the main partition. When I installed Ubuntu, it
