[Bug 64594] Re: hurestore will always crash on startup (unfinished tool)
Adam - There's a link on the right-hand side of the bug page (under 'duplicates') that you can use to unsubscribe. Tiggsy - I agree the fact the restore is completely non functional is frustrating. I still use it for backups however but use DAR directly to do any restores I need. -- hurestore will always crash on startup (unfinished tool) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/64594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thanks for the tip. "sensors" gave "No sensors found!". Running "sensors-detect" and stepping through with default responses identified the following kernel drivers required: w83627ehf coretemp Having loaded these I ran "sensors" again in a terminal window and got some results (although several of these are flagged as "ALARM" - I've attached the full output FYI but I guess the detail of the results is probably not in scope of this bug). [Bug 173797] kernel oops on booting
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22 I've just upgraded my PC from an old Pentium 4 to the following: Motherboard : Asrock 2Core1333-2.66G Processor: Intel 1.6Ghz (model E2140?) overclocked by mfr to 2.66Ghz Memory: 1GB DDR2 667Mhz 5300 Graphics: Onboard Intel GMA 950 Audio: Onboard LAN: Onboard HD: Seagate IDE 40GB ST340810A CD: LG 40x CD-RW HL-DT-ST GCR-8400B Basically, I've kept the hard disk and CD drive, case and PSU and replaced everything else.
