[Bug 328291] [NEW] suspend fails on Compal JFL92
Public bug reported: When going to suspend in Jaunty, screen goes blank with blinking cursor on the upper-left corner of the screen. My laptop (Compal JFL92 is the same platform as FL90) stays powered (Power LED doesn't change state to blinking). I can switch VT, but I can't log in - I don't see any characters which I wrote (loging in "blindly" doesn't work too). Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work, only REISUB. In Hardy suspend/resume worked out-of-the-box (there was used /acpi/sleep.sh instead pm-suspend I presume). [Bug 386736] [NEW] USB Bluetooth dongle floods a console (and doesn't work in one direction)
Public bug reported: I use Hardy. I've recently bought a USB Bluetooth dongle. I can send files from my phone (Sony Ericsson K800i) to the computer, but not in the opposite direction. I installed a lot of packages (like obexfs, gnome-vfs-obexftp, obexfts, obex-data-server etc.) but it didn't help. So I got used to that I wouldn't be able to copy files to my mobile in Hardy. But there is another problem - I discovered that when my adapter is connected and the bluetooth service started (/etc/init.d/bluetooth start) my console is flooded in amazing speed by this text: (...) [ 1533.116617] hci_scodata_packet: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 92 [ 1533.117589] hci_scodata_packet: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 92 [ 1533.118542] hci_scodata_packet: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 92 [ 1533.125639] hci_scodata_packet: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 92 (...) I've read that this can be fixed by some simple kernel modifications. This bug has low priority because is't only annoying. This couldn't be in a wishlist, I think. This version has a really serious bug. Not everyone can know that this is keytouch that causes their computer not to able to shutdown properly...
