Public bug reported: I've written something as usual as: x + y = u + v and LaTeX compiled it creating too large space after u. The same concerns this: f\colon A \times B the space after A is way too large. (screenshots attached).
I've asked for help here: http://www.latex-community.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=5100&p=19680 but it seems that in other distributions people don't have this problem. My distribution: Hardy texlive-latex-base version: 2007-13ubuntu0.1 What happens: spacing is too large after some symbols.
