[Bug 415373] [NEW] linux-image-2.6.28-14-generic locks up when trying to hibernate
Public bug reported: I'm trying to configure my laptop, which is a Compal HGL30 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7600 graphics card to hibernate but I'm experiencing severe problems when trying to do so. The main symptom is that the laptop fails to hibernate, it just locks up, with some console text on the screen. In the kern.log, I see messages such as: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 61s! [Bug 42965] Re: Can't add a printer in KDE: parser error?
I had the same problem a little while ago. I solved my problem by reinstalling the driver manually, and it turned out that there was a new driver that was recommended. Also, I ended up validating all the XML files on my system by running for file in `locate foomatic | grep '\.xml'`; do xmllint --noout $file ; done as it seemed to me that the file was well-formed, and none of these files had errors. Which is kinda weird, since both xmllint and foomatic uses the same parser. The parse error didn't seem to matter, though, which leads me to think that the parse error and the driver problem are two unrelated problems. -- Can't add a printer in KDE: parser error? https://launchpad.net/bugs/42965 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 203009] [NEW] synergys crashes when pasting URL into browser
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synergy I created this with reportbug, but that went in a hole it seems? Here it is: Package: synergy Version: 1.3.1-2ubuntu2 Severity: important I'm using synergy with a newly installed hardy box with KDE4 as server and a gutsy box with KDE3 as client. If I mark a URL on the gutsy box and attempt to paste that URL into an Opera window (which would cause Opera to GET the resource), synergys on the hardy box crashes reproducably. I think I have seen by pasting elsewhere too, but that has not been 100% reproduceable, so to debug it is probably the best to try this: Mark URL with mouse on the client system, go to an Opera window on the server, paste it with the mouse wheel into the main window. The system in question is now my main work system and I don't have the time to back it up and reinstall, nor do I have a system right now I can try another install. So, I'm afraid that's hard... [Bug 474062] [NEW] kmail crashes when composing message
Public bug reported: This bug is about 9.10, libenchant1c2a 1.5.0-0ubuntu2 When I open kmail and click to respond to a message, Kontact crashes immediately. I looked in the trace, and found that it had something to do with the spell checker, and and found that sonnetrc had something to do with it. I had defaultLanguage=nb and when I changed that to defaultLanguage=en, I could open the composer with no problems. If I manually change the dictionary to nb, it crashes in a similar manner. I first reported this as a Kmail bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212890 but the KDE developers suggest that it is an enchant bug instead. I have installed the debug package for enchant, and the stack trace is included. As a KDE dev notes, we have a messy situation here, that we have two written languages nb and nn, and they are also both denoted no. I don't know if this is a cause of the problems. [Bug 1706274] Re: html2xhtml produces invald XML for MS Office HTML output
I'm not 100% sure, since this module is a parser and not a serializer, but it appears HTML::HTML5::Parser is just building a DOM, and the serialization is then done by XML::LibXML. Therefore, it seems likely the bug is indeed in HTML::HTML5::Parser. The upstream bug tracker is at https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Dist/Display.html?Name=HTML-HTML5-Parser but unfortunately, it doesn't see a lot of attention these days. Nevertheless, please submit upstream. ** Changed in: libhtml-html5-parser-perl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1706274 Title: html2xhtml produces invald XML for MS Office HTML output To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libhtml-html5-parser-perl/+bug/1706274/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I was able to reproduce the bug, and I have committed the example as test data to my own fork of the module: https://github.com/kjetilk/p5-html-html5-parser/commit/c4be3e6ee63d0850079c115ef4274e4c2c3befa9 I'm not a maintainer, so it doesn't bring us much closer to a solution though. [Bug 1570112] [NEW] Spec change causes breakage
Public bug reported: RDF::LDF tracks the work-in-progress W3C Hydra specification, and a change to the specification caused all existing clients and servers to break. This module is one of the clients that broke. The upstream issue is this: https://github.com/phochste/RDF-LDF/issues/18 Upstream fixed the issue immediately too. I am 99% certain the commit can be applied cleanly to the version in xenial. [Bug 1433002] [NEW] Sync librdf-linkeddata-perl 0.74-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Public bug reported: Hi! I'm the upstream developer of this package, and I hope you can sync to the latest package in Debian Sid, which is a pure bugfix release. I'm in the fortunate position that others devs are starting to use my software, and they discovered a bug and submitted a patch. [Bug 806875] [NEW] Please sync librdf-rdfa-generator-perl from debian unstable
Public bug reported: Upstream RDF::RDFa::Generator 0.102 contains two important (well, one important, one trivial) bugfixes. It is now packaged for Debian Sid, and I would highly recommend to sync it. It is a pure bugfix-release, so synching will have no adverse effects. ** Affects: librdf-rdfa-generator-perl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/806875 Title: Please sync librdf-rdfa-generator-perl from debian unstable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/librdf-rdfa-generator-perl/+bug/806875/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
