[Bug 190293] [NEW] ERROR: uid is 0 but '/' is owned by 1000
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ufw I'm using packages from gutsy except ufw from hardy. I tried this: :~$ sudo ufw enable ERROR: uid is 0 but '/' is owned by 1000 :~$ So I can't really do anything with ufw. The same thing happens with (at least) these parameters: disable, default allow and status. [Bug 163517] Re: laptop_mode waking up the CPU.
I have time to try Hardy Heron Alpha2 in few weeks.. -- laptop_mode waking up the CPU. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163517 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 163517] laptop_mode waking up the CPU.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: laptop-mode-tools 1. When laptop mode is enabled, powertop http://packages.ubuntu.com/powertop shows line: 26.4% ( 11.3) laptop_mode : queue_delayed_work_on (delayed_work_timer_fn) 2. Then I run a command: sudo invoke-rc.d laptop-mode stop 3. Now laptop_mode should stop? but powertop still shows that same kind of line. 4. I turn laptop_mode back on: sudo invoke-rc.d laptop-mode start and powertop still shows that line (like it should). 5. When I unplug the power cable from my laptop, powertop does not show that line anymore. 6. I plug the power cable back to my laptop, powertop does not start to show that line, like it previously did when the cable was plugged in. I'm using packages from Gutsy. Should it do like that? Or is there a bug that is causing this? ** Affects: laptop-mode-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- laptop_mode waking up the CPU. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163517 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 163517] Re: laptop_mode waking up the CPU.
Weird.. I did a fresh install of Gutsy and now with laptop_mode enabled I can't see anything related to laptop_mode in powertop. I tried this also in Hardy Alpha 2 LiveCD and I didn't see anything related to laptop_mode in powertop. -- laptop_mode waking up the CPU. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163517 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
