[Bug 424132] Re: [kubuntu] OOo KDE file dialog is utterly broken.
I have also had this experience, and a few others that I think are related to the openoffice.org-kde package. With the KDE integration installed in the karmic beta, I cannot add images to Impress slideshows using the menu item. A dialog comes up and I can select an image, but the dialog blinks (disappears and comes back) and does not add an image. I also cannot set a background image because of the same problem. Impress is unable to "Save image as" and cannot export a slide to an image file. Once I removed the KDE integration package, all these problems went away. When saving as M$ ppt, I have to manually add the extension, but not when saving as odp. -- [kubuntu] OOo KDE file dialog is utterly broken. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424132 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 875440] Re: Cannot authenticate with saslauthd and mysql
I can confirm this effects Precise 12.04. [Bug 692477] Re: cannot enter suspend mode
I get this same behavior, but only most of the time (not always). I don't know if it's related, but KDE System Monitor (Kubuntu) reports one of my four processors at 100% utilization all the time, but h/top and even System Monitor's own task list never show any process taking more than 5% processor time. Whenever I see this, I cannot suspend. [Bug 630580] Re: [82G965] No compositing with kwin (and doesn't work well if enabled)
