I have a C++ Eclipse project that depends on this package and, after
upgrade to wily, it does not compile anymore.

By using:
-D_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI=0
the problem goes away, however I suppose it is not a good thing to do.

The error is:

I am unable to manage my disks. When I try so via command line I get
this timeout error

USB stick it won't always recognize it. Sometimes it does after a

NTPD includes a reference clock driver called "pps" which uses a modern
kernel mechanism for pulse-per-second devices for very accurate
timekeeping. PPS is particularly useful for anybody building a stratum 0
GPS-disciplined time server. Please could we enable the PPS driver in

Yes, i confirm too with krillin.  But sometimes the art icon appear instead 
thumbnail/photo, so them are impossibile to view.
I'm working on it to find a procedure to reproduce the "art icon bug"...

The Ubuntu Desktop 15.10 live image fails to boot from USB on an Intel
NUC5PPYH (N3700 CPU - details here

During the normal boot process it hangs on the splash screen. Booting in 
console mode gives an error:
 - NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#3 stuck for 23s! [systemd-udevd:1165]

I am happy to follow instructions to get more detailed logging, but am
not currently clear how to do this at this point in the boot process.

Ubuntu Desktop 15.04 installs successfully.
This bug is still present in Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 nightly

The BIOS settings on this device include an option for "Operating
System" with values "Windows 7", "Windows 8.x/10" and "Linux". Setting
this to "Linux" enables Ubuntu to boot, and Windows 10 seems to run OK
too. This provides a workaround for now but isn't completely
satisfactory as Windows 10 is probably not supported on the device in
this mode, and this may cause problems I haven't found yet.

I would expect that 15.10 runs with the BIOS in "Windows" mode the same
as 15.04.

The way DBus handles this is very basic. It queues up the requests to
the name. So you'll have to release the name before you close the
database. I might suggest you could make your service wait to acquire a
database lock up to a certain timeout on startup. This would mean that
the second instance of your process that gets spawned waits until the
first instance has finished messing with the db.

reported, but i set up a vivid chroot and it worked fine, not sure what
your problem was, that is why it was set to Incomplete because it needed
for you to help us.

xorg does seem not to find the nvidia driver:

But I guess this should not be a problem, since it is using nouveau

I have updated to Ubuntu 15.10 and  installed the library xserver-xort-
input-libinput but the ultranav doesn't work fully. The functionality I
get is

So the right mouse button  is on the bottom right and the middle 
button/scrolling doesn't work at all!
WIth 15.04 I used the patch from Dominik but that doesn't work seem to work 
anymore on the 15.10!

Tested on a Thinkpad e540.

before ubuntu update it stopped working and the additional motinor had
changed size but right tv name but wrong size value, the program makes 4
changes with keybutton even darkens laptop screen in 1 state, the signal

I tried uninstalling libsystemsettings-dev and then downloading unity8
sourcecode and "./build.sh --setup" + "./build.sh" and it compiled
successfully.

@Saviq will try building it on a fresh server install, just to make sure
the successful compilation is not just a consequence of a different
system configuration.

I believe the configuration I had when I reported the bug was a clean
Vivid install, no overlay PPA, and I probably also had xubuntu-desktop
installed, which could be a relevant detail, given that larochelle-brian
also reported the build to be broken on xubuntu 15.04 installs.
