[Bug 821212] Re: dropbox crashed with IOError in __init__(): [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/lib/dropbox/dropbox.tar.gz'
Joao, this is bad advice. The proper way to download the dropbox binary is to execute "sudo dropbox update". And this should be automatically done by the post-installation script of the package. So "sudo dpkg --configure -a" should do it too... because if it's not yet downloaded, it means the package is also not properly configured from the dpkg point of view. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/821212 Title: dropbox crashed with IOError in __init__(): [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/lib/dropbox/dropbox.tar.gz' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-dropbox/+bug/821212/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
