[Bug 836397] Re: libXp.so.6 is missing from ia32-libs package
> libXm.so.4 => not found This refers to libmotif, which has never been included in ia32-libs (because the library is in multiverse). How could this program ever have worked on a 64-bit Ubuntu install before? I've downloaded the package, and see that the other program, wfica, only depends on libXaw.so.7. Yes, this bug is indeed different from bug 834137: looking at the duplicate bugs, one can see that the "[Invalid UTF-8]" issue is not there. [Bug 837208] [NEW] System freezes during login after upgrade from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04
Public bug reported: I have upgraded my desktop from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04(both amd64) Upgrade was completed successfully. System was rebooted and I got the graphical login prompt. Every thing was normal for some time, but while I typed the password system got frozen. Mouse pointer got stuck and system stopped responding to mouse and keyboard. I tried (hard)rebooting multiple times, and each time the behaviour was same. I had not experienced any such issues with Ubuntu 10.10. After some search I found nouveau driver could be the suspect. So I boot up into recovery console, removed "xserver-xorg-video-nouveau" package and installed the nvidia proprietary driver "NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-275.21" instead. This solved the problem and the system is working fine. Public bug reported: Updated from 10.04 to 11.04 couple of weeks ago on my Dell Optiplex GX620 (graphics ATI Technologies Inc RV380 [Radeon X600 (PCIE)]) with 2 monitors. [Bug 641151] Re: multipath flush always returns 1
Hi Peter Thanks very much for documenting the SRU justification and proposing branches for lucid, natty and maverick. Unfortunately there is already a SRU in -proposed for multipath-tools (see bug 789229) so we need to let this complete SRU process to -updates for these three releases before uploading your proposed branches. You will need to update each of your proposed branches with the changes from -updates once accepted and revise the debian/changelog version numbers as below: Natty: 0.4.8-14ubuntu10.3 Maverick: 0.4.8-14ubuntu4.10.10.4 Lucid: 0.4.8-14ubuntu4.10.04.4 Please can you also make sure that the branches target -proposed in the changelog, i.e. natty-proposed, instead of the standard 'natty' release pocket - this will make sure it gets into the right part of the archive for SRU verification. I'm going to mark all three merge proposals as 'Needs Fixing' for the time being as they all need to be updated. You can find more detail on the SRU process here - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure. [Bug 836755] Re: unity-2d-panel crashed with SIGSEGV
I was correct about the panel still functioning correctly, the only noticeable error is that the clock shows [Invalid UTF-8]. Also, in retrospect, I probably should have filed a new bug report so apport-collect can do it's job. If you desire that I do that it's no problem, I can simply boot to the live desktop again and see if the behavior can be reproduced. I'm performing one installation test now and I have at least two more to complete. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/836755 Title: unity-2d-panel crashed with SIGSEGV To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-2d/+bug/836755/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
