[Bug 240203] Re: totem's youtube search engine input text area.
Hi, I recorded the desktop. I hope it will explain my problem much better than i can (sorry for my english). So in this video, first i type "ubuntu compiz" in the text area, i double click on the second item of the search result list. When the video is playing, i enter again in the text area and remove the space character. Each time i try to enter again this space character using the space bar of my keyboard, it switching the video from play to pause like we can see in this video (i hope). [Bug 240477] [NEW] Gwenview-KDE4 displays transparency as black color
Public bug reported: I detected this behavior when i worked on a photo with GIMP, added an alpha channel and cut off edges. I wanted to look at the product (PNG format) with Gwenview-KDE4 2.1 (KDE Version 4.08). Instead of the expected transparent corners, they are displayed black. The preview provided by Dolphin was correct in spite of that and so was it opened with Firefox 3. After that i made a test image from scratch, that is a blank, transparent Canvas with a green square drawn on it (with GIMP again). I saved it as PNG as well as GIF and the results were the same: Transparency was turned into black with Gwenview, but it is displayed correctly in Dolphin Preview and Firefox. [Bug 163898] Re: openoffice document icon is blurry when upscaled
I'd like to reopen this one. This is a bug in OO.o, and not in AWN. The icon OO.o uses for document windows is the same as that which is used in the toolbar for 'New Text/Chart/Base/Draw': in both place, it is blurry. This icon is different from that of each OO.O app in the themes. What could be nice is that document windows use the icons for the corresponding OO.o app, this would be more consistent. And for 'New', different icon sizes should be shipped. ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- openoffice document icon is blurry when upscaled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 160996] Re: evince has trouble handling filename with escaped shell characters
Hi Lars. I notice the title says trouble with escaped shell characters, but as Pedro mentioned, you aren't actually escaping them, unless by escaping you are referring to the quotes around just part of the filename. I have never seen a partially quoted filename but perhaps it is valid. If this is the case can you try escaping the colon with a backslash, otherwise if the single quotes are part of the filename, try Pedro's solution, and report back? [Bug 225950] Re: [8.04] Drawing evolution window on screen very slow
Issue not fixed by evolution update mentioned above, and I would not like this to be missed. Clarification: Evolution main panel in LTSP client, and email windows generated by double clicking on an email, are painfully slow to draw. There is a perceptible delay of 2-3 seconds before content is formatted, and when switching windows the previous content of the main panel area remains visible again for 2-3 seconds.
