Re: [Talks] Email an the n86
Ah I got it, had to change port to default Still bit of a challenge using talks and the n86 email Forget setting themes to anything except basic theme, the only reason I changed it was I couldn't access the draft, sent and outbox folders till I changed theme to vertical, very strange. This is with the previous version of talks as havent tried installing updated version using the email client as when I first installed latest talks it seemed to be more crackly than my current one Unless you good folks tell me that the latest talks does fix these email issues under basic theme? Then arrow down to the beginning of the text you want to copy. You will need your cursor in character mode for this so if you have had it in origional, then change to cursor mode by pressing Talks key followed by a long press of the number 2 key on your keypad. This is a 3-way toggle and one of the modes is character. Bring up the options menu (soft key one) and select editing options submenu>copy. Press soft key one to start highlighting and then arrow right until the radio link is highlighted. Press soft key two to copy. Then go in to your Browser and see if you can paste in to your search field. If the above does not work for you try this: Press and hold the hash key, whilst holding it right arrow across or left arrow across what ever you wish to copy / cut, now when you've finished highlighting, release hash, now press star, arrow down to the editing options which is normally the bottom option.press Copy and then go to Google and see if you can paste in to your Browser. Honestly I do not know as I never do this kind of thing and I do not have your phone model. Anyway it is a start. The only model now which you might get is C5-00 or C5-00.2. However, both the above have no wifi and don't think so it's stereo. furthermore, the speaker is behind. * C5-00 is a very soft phone and with very big phone memory. * C5-00.2 have bigger phone memory and louder sound. * Both have exact same shape. Why not try and go for E5? it's a QWERTY keypad. No. 5 is index. have wifi. On stereo, not sure here cause also is behind the phone. All the best. All the phone will take a memory card. Out of these four, the N86 also has a built in 8GB internal drive. All of them will run Talks. One thing to state about the N78. The speakers are offset. The right speaker is on the upper right side of the phone and the left speaker is on the lower left side of the phone. Also the number rows are a long bar. So 1, 2 and 3 are all part of the same bar. [Talks] N86 and disabling the back camera

Thalks does work quite well with the n97 minni for the most part, but it is a 5th addition phone and thord parties apps don't always work as well with it and the number row on the qwerty key board oesn't always speak the right characters. It has very good sound on the stereo speakers and it's loud which some nokia phones aren't It does have a touch screen also. I haven't used it for a while so I can't remember all of the details. I like the phone the main reason i don't use it now is because I prefer the qwerty key board phones with the kqwerty key board on the front of the phone under the screen rather than the key board that slides out from the side. Phones like the e73 e72, the e6 which is probably my favorite nokia phone because it has the qwerty on the front of the phone but also has a touch screen. One of them is either Save/Copy/Backup I don't recdall for sure what the items is called. Yes, u need to update the music library, just open your menu key 1 and scroll down to update music library -Original Message- From: talks-boun...@talksusers.com [mailto:talks-boun...@talksusers.com] On Behalf Of leonard morris Sent: Saturday, 7 September 2013 10:58 AM To: Talks Mailing List Subject: [Talks] n86 music player issue Well I guess talks is saying music player which is the third item down on the music menu. It's hard to understand. (smile) Anyway, here's the issue. I have a folder called music on my memory card on my n86. I place a bunch of music mp3 files and I played it using the music player. No problem there. However, I deleted all the songs in the music folder from the PC and then added new mp3 file songs. but when I go in to the music player to play the new songs the names of the other songs shows up but of course it can not play them because those songs are not there and the new songs don't show and they don't play. It seems to play some ring tones that I have in a folder called ring tones. When I put the memory card back in the PC and look at the music folder all the new mp3 files are there. Hope this makes sense. The 7.x version of PC Suite should work. They will have the Nokia firmware updater included as part of it. If it happens to have an outdated version of the Nokia firmware updater, it will update itself the first time you use it. So there isn't any reason to install the firmware udpater from PC Suite. That was only needed for the 6.x version of PC Suite. Keep in mind, when using the Nokia Firmware udpater; You will need to use the OCR functions of JAWS in order to interact with the screens. [Talks] Internet Radio
Heya folks, As previous message about the Internet radio app am still having issues with wifi connection with the Internet radio. It started a couple of months back and checking many forums seems am not alone with this bug. Many reinstalling hasn't fixed it and only a couple going to version 1.0.6 has solved the wifi bug connection part. I have no problems connecting Internet radio with 3g connection but everytime I try and connect with wifi lately it plays for 3 seconds then boots me back to the menu list. Am on n86 which I really love but reading the forums it aint a model issue as itsd been happening to n95 and a lot of other phones. Resetting doesn't fix this issue either. When I also try and install the internet radio app I got from Blindsea version 1.16 I think, it seems to install then it keeps coming up with an error expired certificate, does anyone know what that means and how to fix it to fully install? And lastly does anyone know how to get version 1.0.6 of internet radio? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
