[Talks] Help about a curious change in my phone menus
Hello Recently Talks stopped and my N95-1 phone freezed. Then I removed the battery to turn off the phone and placed it again in the phone. Since I have turned on the phone, curiously the menus have changed: the menus (customized by my operator) are now replaced by the menus as exactly described in the Nokia N95-1 Users guide. The main changes occured in the lists of subitems of "Applications", "Office" and "Tools" main menu items. Please, do you know what has happened and how I could get back the previous menu layout (as customized by my operator) ? I thank you for your help. [Talks] expired certificates and/or
I've been trying to install Nokia_bt_keyboard_1_30.sis on my N86. Since this phone was purchased in the U.S. I used the mm/dd/yyy format for the date. I went back to 2001 all the way up to the present but I still either get a certificate error message or a message to contact the supplier. Do I have the correct program and is there anything else I can try? I had this program on my N73 and my E66 but I never put it on my N86. ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
Re: [Talks] Not sure if You Got This - Trouble Going toDifferent Web Sites on My Nokia E6
Yes, I remember the goto feature on other phones. On the E6 this is frustrating. Will take a look, though. If you find the shortcut, or another one, drop me/us a note. On the subject of imparting knowledge, I'd like to thank all of you on the list for your help. It's a wonderful list, and it's too bad that Talks has stopped its development further. Would really be nice for them to get it to work better with Belle, as finding phones (good ones) with Anna is a tough thing. Thanks again. I believe you will need the latest version of this program for the N86, I forget what the version number is but the version you have will not work. The N73 is symbian 9.1 and I forget what the E66 was, think 9.2. - Original Message - From: "leonard morris" To: "Talks Mailing List" Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2014 6:49 PM Subject: [Talks] expired certificates and/or I've been trying to install Nokia_bt_keyboard_1_30.sis on my N86. Re: [Talks] expired certificates and/or
Hello Denise, I would be interested in your Free signer program. Is it possible to e-mail it to me? If not, where did you find it? My e-mail address is: clive.pall...@ptplace.co.uk When using my N95 8GB, I had a brilliant program installed called AppQLaunch. I found an update to the version I had and tried to install it on my N86, and had the certificate expired message. I had no trouble installing it on my N95 8GB, even though the previous version wouldn't install unless I set the date to December 2007. AppQLaunch (Application quick Launch) works like the search box in windows. Once you install and refresh the list, you type the first few letters of the application you wish to open, then scroll down the list for the right one and open it. The latest version of the program removes your search string when you exit the opened application, so you have a clear text entry to enter your next search. It saves time as you don't have to troll through the phone's menus trying to find the application you are looking for, and it works well with Talks. I've no idea if these links still work, but they did when I compiled the document in November of 2012. Below are links to various driver versions for various types of phones, as well as keyboard shortcuts for doing certain tasks. Re: [Talks] AppQLaunch 1.1 successfully installed
Hello Eleanor, Just search on Google, as I did. Make sure it is for third and fifth edition phones, as there is one for fifth edition phones only. As I said, it's a brilliant little program. You can search for applications with just a few letters entered into the search box, or you can scroll down the list and select the one you want. You must refresh the list after installation or when applications are installed/removed. Best wishes, Clive Pallett ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
[Talks] paring problem
I have a suspicion I might not be performing the paring process for the Nokia keyboard and my N86 right. I kind of forgot how I did it before on my E66. Do I enter the single digit from the keyboard first and then hit select on the phone or enter the single digit on the phone hit select and then type the same number on the keyboard or what are the proper steps. ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/

Re: [Talks] expired certificates and/or
btw, how you use the free signer? and base on my understanding, a "signer" is for the purpose of signing an unsigned aps . means you must have a devcert which allow an aps to be signed.
