Well I have never heard of doing it this way, I was having such dreadful
problems but I took your advice last night and reformatted the memory card and
am now replying on the phone as I was successful, thanks Kit.

of course formatting mmc is fastest but actually, what u can do is just
delete off the Mail2 folder on your memory card. Go into Private folder of
your mmc using a card reader. Then do a file search using your pc for
"Mail2". Once found this, delete it off and all msgs and mail account will
be gone from your mmc.

OK I will give that a go Kit, as this is driving me crazy. I did manage to
find that my e-mail is set up on memory card and I also deleted the e-mail
account but still I could not set up a new one so I will reformat the memory
card and see how things go. Will let you know the outcome.

I always wondered what that Private folder was all about. Now can you help me
on another matter on my phone memory. It only happens on E5. All my memory is
getting eaten up by e-mail logs, I do delete these but it does not restore the
memory.

Re: [Talks] Deleting A Mailbox on E5

2013-06-06 Thread Kit
This I am not able to help out as I have no experience in it. But an
important note for the Private folder. Pls do not just simply go in and
delete any file u like without knowing what is it for.

If your email account is in mmc, does the increase in phone memory still
happen?
