This I am not able to help out as I have no experience in it. But an important note for the Private folder. Pls do not just simply go in and delete any file u like without knowing what is it for.
If your email account is in mmc, does the increase in phone memory still happen? ----- Original Message ----- From: <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Thursday, June 06, 2013 4:19 PM Subject: Re: [Talks] Deleting A Mailbox on E5 I always wondered what that Private folder was all about. Now can you help me on another matter on my phone memory. It only happens on E5. All my memory is getting eaten up by e-mail logs, I do delete these but it does not restore the memory. -----Original message----- From: Kit Sent: 06/06/2013, 7:02 am To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Deleting A Mailbox on E5 of course formatting mmc is fastest but actually, what u can do is just delete off the Mail2 folder on your memory card. Go into Private folder of your mmc using a card reader. Then do a file search using your pc for "Mail2". Once found this, delete it off and all msgs and mail account will be gone from your mmc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 05, 2013 4:20 PM Subject: Re: [Talks] Deleting A Mailbox on E5 OK I will give that a go Kit, as this is driving me crazy. I did manage to find that my e-mail is set up on memory card and I also deleted the e-mail account but still I could not set up a new one so I will reformat the memory card and see how things go. Will let you know the outcome. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kit" <goldeneagl...@gmail.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 05, 2013 4:52 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] Deleting A Mailbox on E5 > Hi, I cannot recall for sure the right steps but u can use this method and > it worked for me before.\ > > If your mail account is on your phone memory, get a new or newly formatted > memory card.
