[Talks] global volume
I have the n86 and I have the current version of talks. My issue is changing the volume. For example, I change the volume to ten on the home screen so I can hear talks when I am outside. When I go home I change the volume to 5 on the home screen since I don't need it to be that loud. Now if I go in to another application such as contacts or bluetooth the volume remains at ten. I always thought if you changed the volume the volume get's changed globally. BTW, I have my volume set to five within the talks settings which might or might not have anything to do with my current issue. ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
Re: [Talks] global volume
Did you check to see if you have a Application specific setting set for the Home screen for the volume? This would explain what you are seeing. Signed: Stephen Giggar Skype: dr-phone. Re: [Talks] e6 or asha 300
The softkey being reversed is normal for the Symbian Belle phones. This is how the new versions of Symbian work. This has nothing to do with Talks. You could look at the C5 and see if that fits your needs. Signed: Stephen Giggar Skype: dr-phone. Hardware eventually fails, software eventually works. However, i am finding many issues with it. * Doesnt matter if i have volume set to max, it is still very hard to hear it if there is a bit of noise around. * The touch screen seems to work sometimes and not others. * The functions of the soft keys or function keys 1 and 2 are reversed to what they are normally. * I find that Retreaving and making a text, is very unuser friendly with the E6. Probably old habits die hard. I am so use to the numeric keypad. I find it so much quicker to use. This is why i am considering getting the asha 300. Are there any issues with the asha 300 that ar found in the E6? Such as volume, cumbersom messaging and music accessability, only 3 reprogrammable 1 touch keys, etc? My trusty N86 was great. I new where i stood with it. Because i am having so many issues with the E6 that i purchased from Hong Kong, I am hesitant to buy another phone outside of Australia. Is there any other phone on the market that has the numeric keypad, a menu structure similar to the n86 and will work with talks? n96, etc? Thank you so much. regards Mario ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
