Re: [Talks] Zip Files on Mobile Phone

2012-01-21 Thread Stephen Giggar
It doesn't matter what is in the ZIP file. Most Nokia phones that are
unbranded have the Zip Manager built into them. It works well with Talks as
far as reading the screen and the options for it. Also keep in mind, it
doesn't work like the PC version so you need to just play with it to
understand how it works. Myself, I don't avhe any issues with being able to
unzip a file and or to be able to ZIP up things either.

The only issue I had ran into was being able to unzip a large file. So if
you have a large ZIP file you could run into issues where the phone will not
unzip all of it.

You can also do this with YBrowser if you have the ZIP plug in installed or
you have version 1.x of YBrowser installed.

You may be able to do this with other 3rd party file managers as well.

Oh right thanks Denise I think that program is within Office. Will give
that a go. The files I had in mind were mp3 files.

Your phone has a zip manager on it already. So if the files contained
within the zip file are file compatible with what your phone can
handle it should extract ok on the phone.

there any program that I could use to unzip the file?

[Talks] Skype on Nokia E5

2012-01-21 Thread Eleanor Burke
I have just installed Skype on my Nokia E5 phone. When I go to test the
ringing tone and my recorded voice, it begins to bring and then stops. I then
get a message that the call failed. Repeating this just gives me the same
message. Any ideas please?
