Upgrade to 13.0
Hi. I want to share my evaluation of the upgrade to 13.0: - I lost my motd files. - The upgrade script said it'll skip my shell init scripts due to my personalizations. - On the first restart, fuse failed mounting device and the boot halted in single user. - The $FreeBSD$ tags are useless. - I think I would have lost my amd.map of I were using it, too. - The mouse never disappears in the console. I'm not sure this is new. In resume: it's worse. -- rollingbits — 📧 rollingb...@icloud.com 📧 rollingb...@gmail.com 📧 rollingb...@yahoo.com

One thing I noted this time: after upgrading pkg itself, drm and restart (upgrade in this machine must be an resumable operation), pkg started being killed due to it using all available memory. I also restarted pkg due to package conflicts a few (2 or 3) times. I even thought in asking here what is supposed to happen if someone doesn't upgrade their packages for a lot of time but I feel I just found the answer.
