Hello,
Yesterday, I registered a new account (username Joro), email address
jorro...@yahoo.com.
Either I misspelled my email address, or your mail server does not send the
account confirmation messages correctly.
Can you please check the issue?
The spelling of my email address above is correct.
Alternative email addresses:
petafl...@gmail.com
g.yorda...@dir.bg
g...@protonmail.ch

Thank you in advance.
Georgi (a.k.a. Joro)
P.S. This is a bit urgent because I want to report a bug in Grub 2.06 (my
MX-Linux 21.2 stopped booting and shows grub-rescue instead after some
updates, I think from grub 2.04 to grub 2.06)... Namely, the
/boot/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod contains a symbol grub_native_disk_sectors that
the mode interpreter does not recognize (supposedly, grub_get_disk_size was
not updated to grub_native_disk_sectors everywhere, see
https://www.mail-archive.com/grub-devel@gnu.org/msg31333.html).

Follow-up Comment #1, sr #110725 (project administration):

FWIW, You do not need a Savannah account to send a email to grub-devel@ --
they are to separate things.

As for the delay in your account submission, one of the Savannah admins will
need to look at that.

The pdf looks formatted properly. The info file has problems
though. First, it gave an error

$ make c.info
makeinfo c.texi
c.texi:6455: warning: unknown @end data
c.texi:6462: @node seen before @end example
make: *** [Makefile:8: c.info] Error 1

the attached patch fixes that. But then, it doesn't produce c.info, just
a file named c. That file does work as an info file.

necessary.

Me too. And I understand. But we are nice people and are happy to smooth
over the rough parts. It's really the community that makes everything work.

Follow-up Comment #2:

I have manually activated your account. Please use the Lost Password action
to reset your password if that is needed.

Please be aware that if your account is not actively used for something then
new idle accounts will be expired as an anti-abuse measure. Please read this
document.

https://savannah.nongnu.org/maintenance/IdleAccounts/

As for the email the problem is at Yahoo. Did you check the Spam folder for
it? It's at Yahoo somewhere. Here is the log showing Yahoo accepting the
email.

Sep 18 16:13:55 frontend2 postfix/smtp[26083]: 63DAE120726:
to=, relay=mta5.am0.yahoodns.net[67.195.228.109]:25,
delay=4.9, delays=0.04/0.02/2.5/2.3, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 ok dirdel)

Yahoo accepted it. The problem must be at Yahoo.

As Alfred said the mailing lists are completely separate. There is no need to
have a Savannah account for the mailing lists. There is no need to be
subscribed to post to (most of) the mailing lists. Simply send your message
or bug report and it will be approved through.

Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to help.
